    Akkodis is seeking a Senior Engineer for a contract with a client in Erie, PA. Responsibilities include automating infrastructure deployments and resolving critical production issues while creating runbooks for future incidents.

    Rate Range: $50/hour to 53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

     

    Senior Engineer job responsibilities include:

    • Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using Python and Terraform across cloud environments.

    • Lead Azure cloud application migration efforts, ensuring secure and efficient deployment.

    • Manage and troubleshoot AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, and Step Functions.

    • Resolve critical production-level issues and create detailed runbooks for L1 support teams.

    • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and ensure secure secrets handling.

    • Apply deep cloud server knowledge to optimize system performance and reliability.

     

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

    • 6–8 years of experience in cloud engineering with strong skills in Python and Terraform.

    • Client requires hands-on experience with Azure app migration and deep knowledge of AWS services including EC2, Lambda, and IAM.

    • Client expects expertise in production-level troubleshooting, runbook creation, and AWS professional-level certification.

    Pay Details: $50.00 to $53.00 per hour
