Akkodis is seeking a Snowflake Data Eng for a Contract with a client in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing scalable ETL pipelines, leading offshore data engineers, and delivering end-to-end reporting and dashboarding solutions aligned with business requirements.

Rate Range: $56/Hour to $58/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Snowflake Data Eng Job Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/data pipelines using Snowflake, Apache Doris, Python, and SQL to support analytics and reporting needs.

• Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather reporting/dashboard requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.

• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, ensuring high performance and efficient data processing.

• Build and enhance Tableau dashboards and reporting applications, delivering actionable insights to business teams.

• Design database structures, data models, and data warehouse solutions to support large-scale data management and analytics.

• Lead and mentor offshore data engineering teams, driving best practices, code quality, and successful project delivery.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.

• 8-10 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, BI/Reporting, and analytics solutions development.

• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Apache Doris, Python, and advanced SQL, including query optimization, performance tuning, and ETL pipeline development.

• Proven experience in designing and delivering end-to-end reporting and dashboarding solutions using Tableau, while effectively collaborating with business stakeholders and leading offshore teams.

Pay Details: $56.00 to $58.00 per hour
