    Akkodis is seeking a Software Developer for a contract with a client in Pontiac, MI(Hybrid). Responsibilities include building secure, scalable applications, integrating document management systems, and supporting automation workflows and production troubleshooting.

    Rate Range: $65/hour to 68/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

     

    Software Developer job responsibilities include:

    • Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable applications using .NET, VB6, and Microsoft-based technologies.

    • Implement and automate scanning workflows using Kofax Capture/Transformation and integrate with Laserfiche DMS.

    • Develop and support integrations between document management systems and other enterprise platforms.

    • Troubleshoot production issues, collaborate with end-users and internal teams, and provide ongoing support.

    • Utilize tools like Visual Studio, SSMS, and Azure DevOps for development, deployment, and version control.

    • Create technical documentation, including program specifications, data models, and architecture diagrams.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

    • Minimum 4+ years of professional experience in software development.

    • Hands-on experience with Kofax scanning solutions, Laserfiche DMS, .NET, and VB6 in a Microsoft-based environment.

    • Proficiency in using Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), and Azure DevOps, with strong problem-solving and documentation skills.

    Pay Details: $65.00 to $68.00 per hour
