Software Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Software Engineer for a contract job with a client in San Antonio, TX. This role involves designing and maintaining enterprise content management solutions and leading cross-functional teams through the full software development lifecycle.

Rate Range: $60/hour to 63/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

 

Software Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Purview solutions based on business requirements.

• Evaluate and migrate legacy systems to modern platforms like SharePoint, ensuring efficient content and records management.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, plan integrations, and deliver scalable, secure solutions.

• Implement retention policies and workflows, ensuring compliance with documentation and records standards.

• Contribute to DevOps practices, including code versioning, CI/CD pipelines, and system performance optimization.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide technical leadership, peer reviews, and mentoring to ensure high-quality deliverables.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, including SharePoint and enterprise content management systems.

• Expertise in Microsoft SharePoint architecture, development, and records management workflows.

• Strong proficiency in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, GitHub version control, and system integration.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $63.00 per hour
