    Akkodis is seeking a Solution Architect for a Contract job with a client in New York, NY / Jersey City, NJ(Hybrid). Responsibilities include designing scalable data solutions and leading migrations from on-premises RDBMS to Snowflake.

    Rate Range: $49/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

     

    Solution Architect job responsibilities include:

    • Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions using Snowflake and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).

    • Lead the migration of legacy data warehouses to Snowflake, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal performance.

    • Develop and optimize ELT pipelines, leveraging Snowpipe and other Snowflake features for efficient data ingestion.

    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical architecture.

    • Ensure best practices in data modeling, cost optimization, and query performance tuning.

    • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the solution lifecycle.

     

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Engineering, or a related technical field.

    • Minimum 10 years of experience in architecting and deploying enterprise data solutions, with at least 5 years focused on Snowflake.

    • Proven expertise in building ELT pipelines using Snowflake features like Snowpipe, Stored Procedures, and SnowSQL.

    • Strong experience in migrating on-premises RDBMS to Snowflake and optimizing performance and cost efficiency in cloud environments.

    Pay Details: $49.00 to $53.00 per hour
