    Akkodis is seeking a Sr Advanced Systems Engineer for a Contract with a client in Clearwater, FL. You will lead the design and deployment of advanced embedded systems and guide system verification and testing for GPS/INS product line.

    Rate Range: $60/hour to 68/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

     

    Sr Advanced Systems Engineer job responsibilities include:

    • Lead the design and development of advanced systems, including hardware and software components, for embedded GPS/INS products.

    • Execute complex engineering projects, ensuring successful system integration, deployment, and performance optimization.

    • Develop and validate system verification and test strategies, including test case and script creation for electronic hardware requirements.

    • Analyze customer requirements, perform feasibility assessments, and develop technical solutions aligned with mission needs.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including program managers and engineers, to manage technical risks and support new product development.

    • Participate in technical reviews and meetings (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR) with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and progress.

     

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics.

    • Minimum of 7 years in systems engineering and project guidance.

    • Strong experience in systems integration, implementation, and troubleshooting.

    • Familiarity with navigation systems, including inertial navigation, and tools like MATLAB, Simulink, and DOORS.

    Pay Details: $60.00 to $68.00 per hour
