    Salary Range: $90,000 - $130,000 (commensurate with experience)

    Job Description:

    We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our growing team in Orlando, Florida. This is a direct hire position offering competitive compensation and the opportunity to work on exciting and challenging projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing geotechnical engineering projects, providing technical expertise, and mentoring junior staff.

    Responsibilities:

    • Plan, manage, and execute geotechnical investigations, including field exploration, laboratory testing, and engineering analyses.

    • Prepare and review geotechnical engineering reports, calculations, and recommendations for a variety of projects, such as commercial developments, transportation infrastructure, and residential structures.

    • Collaborate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to develop innovative and cost-effective geotechnical solutions.

    • Oversee and manage construction-phase geotechnical services, including inspections and quality assurance testing.

    • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff.

    • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards.

    • Support business development activities by building client relationships and assisting with proposals.

    Qualifications:

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

    • Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience.

    • Licenses/Certifications:

    • Professional Engineer (PE) license required or EIT

    • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in geotechnical software (e.g., GeoStudio, LPILE, PLAXIS, or similar).

    • Strong understanding of soil mechanics, foundation engineering, and slope stability.

    • Soft Skills:

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • Strong project management and organizational abilities.

    • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
