    Akkodis is seeking a System Administrator for a Contract job with a client in Dallas, TX/ Tampa, FL/ Jersey City, NJ(Hybrid). The ideal candidate will manage, secure, and optimize our Kafka clusters, ensuring efficient performance and seamless data integration.

     

    Rate Range: $45.45/hour to $60.61/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

     

    System Administrator job responsibilities include:

    • Managing and maintaining server infrastructure

    • Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues

    • Ensuring security through regular updates and patches

    • Configuring and supporting network systems

    • Implementing backup and disaster recovery solutions

     

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field

    • 5+years of Experience in system administration

    • Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows server environments

    • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell)

    • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)

    • Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)

    • Expertise in network protocols and security best practices

    • Experience with automation and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef)

    • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

    Pay Details: $45.45 to $60.61 per hour
