    Akkodis is seeking a System Administrator for a Contract job with a client in Pleasanton, CA(Hybrid).  Responsibilities include migrating workloads to the cloud and automating tasks using Linux scripting.

    Rate Range: $41/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

     

    System Administrator job responsibilities include:

    • Managing and maintaining server infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.

    • Implementing and overseeing security measures to protect data and systems.

    • Performing regular system updates and backups.

    • Troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues.

    • Monitoring system performance and resource utilization.

    • Collaborating with IT teams to support network and application services.

    • Documenting system configurations and procedures.

    • Providing technical support and training to end-users.

     

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in system administration.

    • Proficiency in managing Windows and Linux servers.

    • Strong knowledge of network protocols and security best practices.

    Pay Details: $41.00 to $56.00 per hour
