System Administrator

Akkodis is seeking a System Administrator for a Contract with a client in Westchester, PA. The ideal candidate is responsible for executing end-to-end CI/CD-driven deployments, managing release controls in Jira and Jenkins, and ensuring compliant, validated releases through rigorous pre-checks, post-deployment verification, and operational support.

Rate Range: $53/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

System Administrator Job Responsibilities include:

• Execute end-to-end Windchill deployments across Dev, QA, and Production environments, including configuration updates, validation, and post-deployment verification.

• Perform hands-on Linux administration tasks such as file management, service operations, log review, and troubleshooting to support deployment activities.

• Manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and track deployment-related work items, defects, and releases through Jira.

• Ensure adherence to regulated change management, release controls, and compliance standards through proper documentation and evidence capture.

• Monitor deployments, resolve issues, support rollbacks, and escalate risks as needed to maintain platform stability.

• Maintain and enhance deployment runbooks, checklists, and operational documentation to improve repeatability and audit readiness.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 6–8 years of overall experience, including 3–5 years of hands-on Windchill administration and Linux-based deployment experience.

• Strong expertise in Windchill administration, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), and deployment execution within regulated environments (MedTech, healthcare, life sciences, or manufacturing).

• Proven experience working with Linux systems, Jira-based release tracking, and strict change management, validation, and compliance processes for production systems.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $60.00 per hour
