Team Operator - Shift 1

Akkodis is seeking a Team Operator - Shift 1 for a Contract job with a client in Southington, CT. You will perform various packaging tasks, ensuring accurate labeling, inspection, and documentation of products.

 

Rate Range: $18/hour to $20/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

 

Team Operator - Shift 1 job responsibilities include:

• Operating packaging equipment, including the Form, Fill, and Seal machine, label maker, and tape machine.

• Receiving, inspecting, sorting, and packing products efficiently and accurately.

• Performing visual inspections of packing materials and ensuring documentation accompanies each product.

• Cleaning and inspecting machines during changeovers to maintain product quality and line clearance.

• Completing and verifying paperwork to ensure accuracy and traceability.

• Assisting in the training of new operators on packaging processes.

• Maintaining 5S standards in assigned work areas to support a clean and organized environment.

• Performing additional related duties as assigned to support production needs.

 

Desired Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Less than 1 year of experience; manufacturing background preferred.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Knowledge of computer use and adequate fine motor hand coordination.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
