Tech Delivery & Operational Excellence Lead

Akkodis is seeking a Tech Delivery & Operational Excellence Lead for a Contract job with a client in New York, NY. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in Laboratory Informatics, Agilent OpenLAB CDS, cloud-based laboratory platforms, and technical delivery management, along with a proven track record supporting enterprise-scale laboratory system deployments.

Rate Range: $76/hour to $115/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Tech Delivery & Operational Excellence Lead job responsibilities include:

• Support the design, implementation, and lifecycle management of the global Agilent OpenLAB CDS 2.x (OL:CDS) platform.

• Assist technical leadership with OL:CDS platform architecture design, solution planning, and infrastructure requirements.

• Configure and manage AWS cloud resources supporting laboratory informatics platforms and business workflows.

• Lead and coordinate Agilent Instrument Controller (AIC) build, deployment, validation, and troubleshooting activities.

• Manage deployment resources and oversee daily and weekly delivery activities to ensure successful platform rollouts.

• Support system releases, change management activities, validation processes, and operational readiness initiatives.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong experience supporting Laboratory Informatics platforms and scientific laboratory systems.

• Experience with:

  • Agilent OpenLAB CDS 2.x

  • Laboratory Information Systems

  • Laboratory Data Management

  • Enterprise Application Deployments

  • Cloud Technologies (AWS)

• Experience supporting software configuration, validation, deployment, release management, and operational support activities.

• Knowledge of laboratory environments, scientific workflows, and regulated industry requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting global laboratory informatics deployments and enterprise-scale scientific platforms.

• Familiarity with Agilent Instrument Controllers (AIC) and laboratory instrument integration technologies.

• Experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, or research environments.

• Knowledge of software validation, compliance requirements, and operational support best practices.

• Experience leading technical delivery, release management, and operational excellence initiatives.

Pay Details: $76.00 to $115.00 per hour
