    Akkodis is seeking a Technical Architect for a Contract job with a client in Plano, TX(Hybrid). The ideal candidate is an AWS Sr. Cloud Architect skilled in hybrid infrastructure, cloud migration, and IaC automation using Terraform and Ansible.

     

    Rate Range: $41/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

     

    Technical Architect job responsibilities include:

    • Design and implement scalable, secure hybrid infrastructure solutions across on-prem and AWS environments.

    • Define cloud architecture best practices and lead application migration strategies to AWS.

    • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines.

    • Collaborate with engineering teams to establish standards and processes across the infrastructure lifecycle.

    • Ensure compliance, security, and performance through proactive monitoring, capacity planning, and system upgrades.

     

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).

    • 15+ Extensive experience in infrastructure architecture, with strong exposure to both on-prem and AWS environments.

    • AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification is mandatory.

    • Proven expertise in designing and automating infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

    • Deep understanding of security and compliance requirements in AWS cloud environments.

    • Strong background in networking, storage, and disaster recovery planning.

    • Experience working with cross-functional teams to define technology roadmaps and standardize infrastructure processes.

    Pay Details: $41.00 to $60.00 per hour
