Technical Lead

Akkodis is seeking a Technical Lead for a Contract with a client in Mount Laurel, NJ. The ideal candidate is leading the architecture and delivery of scalable, high‑performance mobile applications with a focus on engineering excellence.

Rate Range: $49/hour to $58/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Technical Lead Job Responsibilities include:

• Lead the architecture, design, and development of complex Android applications with a focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability.

• Set technical direction by enforcing SOLID principles, modern Android architectures (MVVM/MVI), and best engineering practices.

• Drive adoption of Jetpack libraries and Jetpack Compose, including custom components and multi‑module project structures.

• Oversee CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions to ensure reliable builds, testing, and deployments.

• Maintain high code quality through rigorous code reviews, unit and UI testing, and clear technical documentation.

• Mentor junior developers and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver secure, user‑centric features.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 8–10 years of professional experience in Android application development.

• Strong hands-on expertise with Kotlin, Android architecture components, Jetpack libraries, Jetpack Compose, and modern design patterns (MVVM/MVI, SOLID).

• Proven experience leading Android teams, implementing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions, and mentoring developers while ensuring high code quality and delivery standards.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $58.00 per hour
