Your Role
Akkodis is seeking a Unit design Validation and RF Engineer for a Contract with a client in Naperville, IL. The ideal candidate is responsible for designing, validating, and supporting RF/microwave subsystems including transmitters, receivers, power amplifiers, and antennas through simulation, prototyping, and testing.
Rate Range: $44/hour to $45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Unit design Validation and RF Engineer Job Responsibilities include:
Design and validate RF/microwave units such as transmitters, receivers, power amplifiers, RF synthesizers, and antennas.
Perform RF circuit design, analysis, and optimization using simulation tools such as ADS, CST, and HFSS.
Conduct electromagnetic simulations and signal processing analysis to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance with specifications.
Support hardware prototyping, integration, and hands-on testing of RF subsystems during development cycles.
Participate in design and validation reviews, providing technical input and recommendations for improvement.
Utilize MATLAB and Python for data analysis, modeling, and validation of RF and microwave designs.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or physics with a focus on RF/Microwave technologies.
6–8 years of professional experience in RF design, validation, or related engineering roles.
Strong expertise in RF circuit design and validation, including transmitters, receivers, power amplifiers, synthesizers, and antennas.
Proficiency with RF/EM simulation and analysis tools (ADS, CST, HFSS) and hands-on experience using MATLAB and Python for modeling, testing, and data analysis.

Pay Details: $44.00 to $45.00 per hour
