Unit design Validation and RF Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Unit design Validation and RF Engineer for a Contract with a client in Naperville, IL. The ideal candidate is responsible for designing, validating, and supporting RF/microwave subsystems including transmitters, receivers, power amplifiers, and antennas through simulation, prototyping, and testing.

Rate Range: $44/hour to $45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Unit design Validation and RF Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

• Design and validate RF/microwave units such as transmitters, receivers, power amplifiers, RF synthesizers, and antennas.

• Perform RF circuit design, analysis, and optimization using simulation tools such as ADS, CST, and HFSS.

• Conduct electromagnetic simulations and signal processing analysis to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance with specifications.

• Support hardware prototyping, integration, and hands-on testing of RF subsystems during development cycles.

• Participate in design and validation reviews, providing technical input and recommendations for improvement.

• Utilize MATLAB and Python for data analysis, modeling, and validation of RF and microwave designs.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or physics with a focus on RF/Microwave technologies.

• 6–8 years of professional experience in RF design, validation, or related engineering roles.

• Strong expertise in RF circuit design and validation, including transmitters, receivers, power amplifiers, synthesizers, and antennas.

• Proficiency with RF/EM simulation and analysis tools (ADS, CST, HFSS) and hands-on experience using MATLAB and Python for modeling, testing, and data analysis.

Pay Details: $44.00 to $45.00 per hour
