Core Java Developer

We are seeking an experienced Core Java Developer to join a leading Banking/Financial client in Montreal. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in server-side Java development and thrive in a fast-paced, multithreaded environment.

Job Title: Core Java Developer

Location: Montreal, QC

Must Haves:

• Core Java with strong Multi-threading & Concurrency skills

• Spring Boot (Core Spring), JUnit, Java Data Structures

• Unix/Linux Shell Scripting

• Strong SQL skills with Sybase and/or DB2

• Messaging experience with MQ/Kafka

• Good problem-solving and analytical abilities

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to code without an editor during interviews

Nice to Have:

• Experience with MongoDB

• Familiarity with Equity Derivatives

• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
