Delivery Manager - 3

Our Banking Client is seeking a Delivery Manager - 3 to lead the development and delivery of cloud-based data products within their International Banking division. This role requires expertise in Agile methodologies, data product delivery, stakeholder management, and compliance. The successful candidate will operate at the intersection of Scrum Master, data delivery expert, and business facilitator, ensuring the seamless migration and transformation of data to the cloud.

Job Location: Toronto, ON/Hybrid

 

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Agile project management or Scrum Master roles, with at least 3 years focused on data-related projects (e.g., data engineering, data analytics, or data warehousing).
• Proven track record of delivering data products or solutions in the banking or financial services industry, with knowledge of international banking regulations (e.g., GDPR, MiFID II, or equivalent).
• Strong experience facilitating cross-functional teams and managing senior stakeholders in a global, matrixed organization.
• Hands-on experience with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps) and data engineering workflows (e.g., ETL processes, data pipelines, cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Spanish language

Nice-To-Have Skills:
• Familiarity with data governance, data quality frameworks, and compliance requirements in banking.
• Ability to coach teams and stakeholders on Agile practices and data-driven delivery.

Soft Skills Required:
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Effective communication skills to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

They must be capable of effectively communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, understanding and translating business requirements, and clearly conveying those needs to their technical team.
This person should also possess the leadership skills necessary to guide and empower a team, ensuring that project deliverables are completed on time and within budget. Strong project management capabilities are essential, including risk management, financial planning, and conflict resolution.
