Position: Intermediate Project Manager / Leader
Duration: 6 Months assignment (contract)
Client Location: Toronto (Onsite: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)
Engagement Model: Professional Services Engagement – B2B (Incorporated Entities Only)

This position is provisionally Onsite, requiring 7.25 hours per calendar day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (excluding breaks). Conditions may change based on organizational requirements and at the discretion of the Hiring Manager.
About the Engagement
Akkodis is seeking an experienced Intermediate Project Manager / Leader to manage enterprise-wide IT transformation initiatives within a complex, multi-stakeholder environment. The successful candidate will lead full lifecycle project delivery, including planning, execution, procurement, vendor management, and stakeholder alignment, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget. This role is ideal for a professional with strong experience in large-scale technology projects, procurement processes, and organizational transformation.
Scope
Lead and manage enterprise-level IT transformation projects aligned with strategic objectives
Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution
Manage risks, issues, resources, timelines, and deliverables
Drive procurement processes for technology solutions and vendor engagement.
Assignment Deliverables
Project charters, detailed project plans, and schedules
Status reports and executive-level presentations
Financial tracking and forecasting reports
Risk, issue, and change management documentation.
Expertise Required
Must Have:
Post-secondary education in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required.
Extensive experience managing all aspects of transformational enterprise-wide IT projects in complex multi-departmental environments (including budget and timeline management, scope management, estimating and managing project resources, risk management, issues management, organizational change management, timely decision making, critical path identification, business transformation, data transformation/migration, user experience optimization, etc.)
Oversee all aspects of assigned projects, including project charter development, detailed planning and scheduling, budgeting, risk and issue management, resource allocation, quality assurance, and stakeholder engagement.
Nice to Have:
Familiarity with cloud-based or digital transformation projects
Exposure to financial forecasting, cost optimization, and benefits realization tracking
Awareness of emerging IT trends and innovation in enterprise environments.
