About the Engagement

Akkodis is seeking an Intermediate Software Developer to support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of data‑driven enterprise applications. The successful consultant will work within a structured development environment, translating technical and business requirements into well‑tested software solutions while collaborating with technical and business stakeholders.

Scope

• Develop and maintain web and desktop applications using Microsoft .NET technologies

• Translate technical system specifications and business requirements into functional software components

• Contribute to the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance

• Support implementation, conversion, and migration activities as required.

Assignment Deliverables

• Functional and tested application components aligned with technical specifications

• Clean, maintainable, and testable source code

• Unit and integration testing results

• Technical documentation supporting ongoing maintenance and knowledge transfer.

Expertise Required

Must Have:

2-5 years’ experience:

• Development Tools: Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio (VB and C# preferred) to build ASP.NET MVC and .NET Windows desktop applications.

• Database: Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server (2014 or later), including writing stored procedures, designing database objects, and optimizing queries.

• Services: Experience creating and maintaining Web APIs and Windows services using .NET (C# or VB).

• Reporting: Proficiency with Active Report; Familiarity with SSRS and Crystal 2016.

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to Microsoft Azure and modern frameworks (Entity Framework, AngularJS, WCF)

• Familiarity with SharePoint or similar enterprise collaboration platforms

• Experience working with financial or data‑driven systems.
