Intermediate Systems Administrator/Operations Support Specialist

We are seeking an Operations Support Specialist to join our Ontario Government Client's team. The ideal candidate will bring at least three years of operational support experience, with a preference for those with a background in the OPS or Justice sector. This role requires expertise in various technologies, including Audio/Visual and Videoconferencing systems, along with strong experience in configuration and inventory management.

Must Haves:

• Minimum of 3 years of operational support experience.

• Experience in the OPS/Justice sector is an asset.

• Proficiency with Justice Video Network.

• Experience with Audio/Visual and Videoconferencing technologies.

• Knowledge of Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and Inventory Management.

• Familiarity with the ITIL framework and best practices.

• Strong day-to-day computer systems operation and information retrieval skills.

• Experience with communication protocols, database management, and scripting.

• Expertise in data analysis/visualization tools like Power BI.

• Advanced MS Office (Excel) and PostgreSQL skills.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to focus on tasks.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in programming, database languages, and operating systems.

• Experience with configuration management (CMDB) and ITIL best practices.

• Expertise in Audio/Visual and Videoconferencing technologies.

• Understanding of business concepts like inventory management and order fulfillment.

Public Sector Experience
