About the Engagement

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Intermediate Systems Testing / QA Specialist to support enterprise-level digital initiatives within a complex delivery environment. The successful consultant will be responsible for executing comprehensive testing strategies across web and integrated systems, ensuring high-quality, accessible, and reliable applications aligned with business and regulatory requirements.

Scope

• Plan, design, and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases

• Conduct functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT)

• Perform defect triaging, lead triage meetings, and produce defect summary reports

• Develop and maintain both manual and automated test scripts.

Assignment Deliverables

• Test strategies, test plans, and detailed test cases

• Automated test scripts and execution reports

• Defect logs, triage summaries, and resolution tracking

• Test data and validation reports.

Expertise Required

Must Have:

• 5–10 years of experience in manual and automated testing across multiple testing types (functional, regression, system, integration, UAT, security, and penetration testing)

• Strong experience in defect triaging, leading triage meetings, and reporting

• Extensive experience performing regression testing (manual and automation)

• Proven ability to create detailed test cases and functional test scenarios

• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps or similar defect tracking tools

• Experience working within Agile/DevOps/Scrum environments

• Strong experience analyzing business requirements and preparing test data.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman)

• Experience with accessibility testing tools (screen readers, colour contrast analyzers)

• QA certifications such as ISTQB.
