About the Engagement

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior AI Engineer to support the development, implementation, optimization, and maintenance of enterprise Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI, Conversational AI, and cloud-based contact centre solutions.

The successful candidate will possess extensive experience developing AI-powered customer service solutions utilizing Amazon Connect, Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Lex, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI Agents, and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) technologies. This role requires strong hands-on engineering expertise designing scalable, secure, and reliable solutions that enhance customer and citizen service experiences while adhering to industry best practices and Responsible AI principles.

Scope

• Develop, configure, implement, and support AI, Generative AI, and Conversational AI solutions.

• Design and implement AI-powered virtual assistants, voicebots, conversational IVR, and self-service capabilities.

• Configure and develop Amazon Connect Customer AI Agents and Amazon Lex conversational solutions.

• Develop integrations between AI services, enterprise applications, APIs, workflow platforms, and knowledge repositories.

• AI-powered conversational solutions and customer self-service implementations.

• Amazon Connect contact centre solutions and Customer AI Agent configurations.

• Amazon Bedrock and Amazon Lex integrations and enhancements.

• AI Agent implementations utilizing LLMs, RAG, MCP, and orchestration frameworks.

Expertise Required

Must Have:

• 5+ years of experience developing Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) solutions in enterprise environments.

• Hands-on experience implementing Generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM) solutions, including AI Agents and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.

• 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and implementing Amazon Connect contact centre solutions.

• Experience configuring and developing Amazon Connect Customer AI Agents, Amazon Bedrock integrations, and Amazon Lex conversational solutions.

• Strong experience designing and optimizing prompts, AI guardrails, and conversational workflows for virtual assistants, voicebots, and AI agents.

• Experience developing cloud-native applications and integrations using AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, Event Bridge, CloudWatch, and IAM.

• Strong hands-on development experience with Python and working knowledge of JavaScript and Node.js.

• 5+ years of experience delivering conversational AI, IVR, contact centre, or customer self-service solutions.

Nice to Have:

• Experience producing technical documentation aligned with public sector standards and practices.

• Experience applying Public Sector Unified I&IT Project Methodology and Systems Development methodologies.
