Senior Applications Architect

Our Ontario Government Client is looking for a skilled BMC ITSM Technical Lead to oversee the upgrade and migration of the Remedy ITSM toolset from on-premise to SaaS. This role involves leading development efforts, architecting solutions, and ensuring comprehensive knowledge transfer to the Ontario Health team.

Must Haves:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience migrating on-premise ITSM tools to SaaS

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise solution development, including application and platform architecture

• 8+ years of expert experience with Remedy ITSM and CMDB

Responsibilities:

Deliverables:

• Serve as the primary architect for upgrading the Remedy ITSM toolset (ITSM, CMDB, DWP Adv., SmartIT, BMC Dashboard, RSSO) and migrating it to SaaS.

• Act as the development lead, assigning tasks to other developers to support the upgrade and migration.

• Document build and installation procedures for the products.

• Develop, document, and test migration scripts.

• Gather and negotiate requirements with stakeholders, aiming for out-of-the-box solutions.

• Provide strategies for Remedy ITSM toolset upgrades and detailed descriptions of its capabilities, including demos.
