About the Engagement

Akkodis is seeking a Senior Automation Solution Consultant to lead enterprise‑scale automation initiatives within a large, complex IT operations environment. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and governing automation solutions that improve operational efficiency, reliability, compliance, and security across Windows and Linux server infrastructure.

This is a hand‑on technical role for an experienced automation professional with deep expertise in Ansible, PowerShell, Bash, and enterprise systems administration. The successful consultant will reduce manual operational work through automation while ensuring production stability and compliance within structured enterprise and ITIL‑aligned environments.

Scope

• Design and implement enterprise automation solutions using Ansible

• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, patching, and compliance enforcement

• Support automation‑first operations across Windows and Linux platforms

• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, Architecture, and Operations teams         .

Assignment Deliverables

• Enterprise‑grade Ansible roles, playbooks, inventories, and automation frameworks

• Automated patching and configuration enforcement solutions

• Enhanced and newly created operational runbooks and alert response automation

• Remediation and compliance automation reports.

Expertise Required

Must Have:

• 7+ years of hands‑on Ansible automation experience in production environments

• 7+ years of enterprise Windows Server (2012, 2019, 2022) administration

• 7+ years of PowerShell scripting for Windows automation

• 7+ years of Bash or shell scripting for Linux automation

• 7+ years administering enterprise Linux distributions (RHEL, Ubuntu, or equivalent)

• Strong experience automating Windows systems using WinRM and Ansible Windows modules.

Nice to Have:

• Hybrid or cloud infrastructure experience (Microsoft Azure preferred)

• Experience with security baselines, CIS hardening, or compliance automation

• Familiarity with Infrastructure‑as‑Code and DevOps practices.
