    We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst for our Ontario Government Client. This role requires a deep understanding of business analysis, technical skills, and soft skills essential for successful project delivery. The candidate must be adept at engaging with stakeholders, managing requirements, and delivering high-quality documentation within an agile environment.

    Must Haves:

    • Proven experience engaging with business and IT stakeholders to understand and estimate requirements.

    • Experience working in agile/iterative delivery teams.

    • Expert knowledge in writing detailed user stories.

    • Strong experience in analyzing and estimating system applications in large, integrated environments.

    Business Analysis Skills

    • Engage with business and IT stakeholders to understand requirements and provide detailed estimates.

    • Work effectively in agile/iterative teams, writing detailed user stories, and creating business process maps/diagrams.

    • Document deliverables such as Functional/Non-functional requirements, Business Process Models, Use Cases, and more.

    • Facilitate JAD/Sprint sessions and conduct feasibility analysis and project scoping.

    Technical Skills

    • Analyze and estimate system applications in complex environments.

    • Experience with system implementation stages and Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) solutions like Oracle Siebel.

    • Proficient in using Jira for documentation and prototyping tools for mock-ups.

    • Skilled in business process mapping using Visio.

    Soft Skills

    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

    • Excellent communication and meeting facilitation skills.

    • Proficient in stakeholder management and consensus building.

    Public Sector Experience

    • Familiarity with Public Sector I&IT Solutions, application design, and project delivery methodologies.

    • Experience with Ontario Public Service policies, AODA, and the Digital First Strategy.
