    The Ontario Government Client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with extensive experience in Agile and DevOps environments. This role requires strong skills in business analysis, SQL, and communication to manage complex projects effectively. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in application development, particularly with Java, Siebel, and ETL tools, and a deep understanding of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related standards.

    Must Haves:

    • Extensive experience in managing user stories within Agile, SCRUM, Lean, and DevOps methodologies

    • Proficient in using SQL queries for data analysis and understanding application business rules

    • Experience in business analysis for developing applications, including Java, Siebel, and ETL (PL/SQL, Informatica)

    • Strong experience in leading and conducting business analysis to assess client needs and document requirements for I&IT solutions

    • Knowledge of AODA regulations and standards

    • Experience in developing strategies, business cases, and cost-benefit analysis

    • Proficiency in using CASE tools to document requirements and scope

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead business analysis efforts to solve client business problems and document requirements

    • Apply re-engineering concepts to promote business improvements and cost-effective service delivery

    • Develop and execute strategies, business cases, and feasibility studies for I&IT initiatives

    • Conduct requirements gathering through JAD sessions, interviews, and mockups

    • Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and report to management and stakeholders

    • Ensure continuous knowledge transfer to LRC staff, including dedicated sessions during project close-out

    Desired Skills:

    • Experience in information retrieval packages and Information Management principles

    • Ability to translate business and data requirements into technology solutions

    • Familiarity with a wide range of business analysis methods and tools, including business process mapping and modeling

    • Strong communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

    • Public service experience is a plus
