Votre Mission

Position: Senior Business Analyst

Duration: 4 Months assignment (contract)
Client Location: Toronto (Onsite: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)
Engagement Model: Professional Services Engagement – B2B (Incorporated Entities Only)


Note on Assignment Type

This position is provisionally Onsite, requiring 7.25 hours per calendar day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (excluding breaks). Conditions may change based on organizational requirements and at the discretion of the Hiring Manager.


About the Engagement

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support complex digital transformation initiatives within the public sector, particularly in the Long-Term Care domain. The successful consultant will lead business analysis activities across the full project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with public sector standards, Agile methodologies, and digital service practices, while driving user-centered, accessible, and compliant solutions.


Scope

  • Drive process improvements using lean and re-engineering concepts

  • Ensure alignment with Digital Service Standard, Service Design Playbook, and Design System.

  • Support project coordination, risk management, and change management activities

  • Liaise with development, QA teams, vendors, and stakeholders.


Assignment Deliverables

  • Stakeholder communication and workshop outputs

  • Project plans, schedules, and status reports

  • Training materials and user documentation

  • Operational support documentation (runbooks, deployment guides, change requests).


Expertise Required

Must Have:

  • Experience with Fixing Long-Term Care Act (2021), Digital Service Standard, Design System, and Service Design Playbook

  • Proven experience conducting user research (interviews, card sorting, empathy mapping)

  • Strong business analysis experience across full project lifecycle

  • Experience applying lean / business process re-engineering concepts

  • Proficiency in MS Office and collaboration tools (e.g., Miro)

  • Experience in public sector and/or healthcare domain (LTC preferred).

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with data modeling, data quality, and data practices

  • Familiarity with change management and training delivery support

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, vendors, and multi-stakeholder environments.
