Duration: 6 Months assignment (contract)
Client Location: Toronto (Onsite: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)

About the Engagement

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support complex enterprise initiatives within the Public Sector. The successful consultant will provide end-to-end business analysis services, ensuring alignment with Public Sector standards, enterprise architecture, and digital delivery practices, while driving efficient, secure, and user-centered solutions.

Scope

• Lead requirements gathering, use case development, and business process modeling

• Manage product backlog and user stories using Azure DevOps or similar tools

• Conduct incident response and case management support

• Document and support API integrations and technical requirements.

Assignment Deliverables

• Business requirements documentation, use cases, and process flows

• Product backlog, user stories, and traceability matrices

• API documentation and integration specifications

• Power BI dashboards and reporting outputs.

Expertise Required

Must Have:

• Strong experience in:

• Requirements gathering and use case development

• User accessibility, concurrency, cybersecurity, TRA, PIA requirements

• Cloud services and Power BI reporting

• Experience managing product backlogs and user stories (Azure DevOps or equivalent)

• Experience with Incident Response Management and Case Management

• Experience documenting API integrations

• Proven ability to conduct end-to-end business analysis across project lifecycle.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of Information Management principles and tools

• Familiarity with Agile, structured, and object-oriented methodologies.
