About the Engagement

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support the ePrescribing and Medication Initiative within a major healthcare modernization program.

This engagement focuses on enhancing digital healthcare delivery by supporting medication-related clinical workflows, healthcare information systems, and electronic prescribing capabilities. The successful consultant will work with healthcare stakeholders, clinical teams, technology partners, and project teams to analyze business needs, define requirements, support solution design, and contribute to successful implementation activities.

Scope

• Support business analysis activities related to ePrescribing and medication management initiatives.

• Gather, analyze, document, and validate business requirements with healthcare stakeholders.

• Define and document medication workflow requirements and associated business processes.

• Contribute to integrated project planning and project reporting activities.

• Support prioritization of business and functional requirements.

Assignment Deliverables

• Contributions to Medication Program Integrated Project Plan (IPP)

• Business and functional requirements documentation

• Medication workflow analysis and process mapping

• Stakeholder engagement workshops and requirement validation sessions.

Expertise Required

Must Have:

• Minimum 5-7 years of Business Analyst experience supporting electronic health-related projects.

• Minimum 5-8 years of experience defining and implementing health system business requirements.

• Minimum 4-5 years of experience working with Healthcare Information Systems and healthcare data workflows.

• Minimum 4-5 years of experience supporting medication, pharmacy, hospital admission, patient record, or related healthcare business processes.

• Demonstrated experience supporting clinical software systems.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with healthcare implementation and deployment projects.

• Experience supporting provincial healthcare initiatives.

• Experience managing customer inquiries, issues, and risk mitigation activities.
