About the Engagement

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Business Intelligence Specialist to support enterprise reporting, analytics, and data architecture initiatives within a large-scale public sector environment.

The successful consultant will provide both strategic data architecture expertise and hands-on Power BI development services. This role requires a highly skilled professional capable of designing scalable modern data platforms, building enterprise semantic models, and delivering high-quality dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions that support operational and executive decision-making.

Scope

• Develop and optimize Power BI semantic models, dashboards, reports, KPIs, and advanced DAX calculations to support business decision-making.

• Design scalable data architecture, including data models, data flows, governance frameworks, security controls, and reporting standards.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, perform data analysis, and translate business needs into technical solutions.

• Integrate and manage data from Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, and SQL Server environments.

Expertise Required

Must Have:

• Minimum 7 years of Business Intelligence and Data Analytics experience.

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on Power BI development experience.

• Minimum 7 years of data architecture experience.

• Expert-level experience with Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and enterprise data modeling.

• Strong experience designing and developing enterprise semantic models and reporting architectures.

• Advanced SQL development and enterprise data warehouse experience.

• Expert knowledge of dimensional modeling, star schemas, and enterprise data warehouse design principles.

• Strong expertise with:

o   Databricks

o   Azure Data Factory

o   Azure Data Lake

o   Azure Synapse Analytics

o   SQL Server

Nice to Have:

• Experience supporting government, healthcare, or broader public sector reporting initiatives.

• Experience working within complex regulatory, governance, and data privacy environments.
