Senior Data Analytical Specialist/Scientist

We are looking for a highly skilled Business Intelligence and Data Analytics Specialist with strong technical expertise and experience in developing comprehensive BI solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Power BI, SQL, data analytics, and collaboration within cross-functional teams.

Technical Skills:

• Business Intelligence Reporting: Proven ability to design and develop comprehensive BI reports and dashboards, demonstrating expertise in data visualization, interpretation, and analysis.

• Power BI Expertise: Extensive experience with Power BI, including advanced report creation, data analysis, and in-depth knowledge of Power BI Service for integration and customization.

• SQL and Data Querying: Strong proficiency in SQL and other data query tools, enabling efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.

• Data Visualization: Expertise in creating effective and insightful data visualizations, utilizing various tools and techniques to convey complex data-driven insights.

• BI Implementation Methodologies: Familiarity with Business Intelligence methodologies and real-world application of BI solutions in large-scale implementations.

• Data Analysis and Management: Comprehensive knowledge of data analysis principles, data management, and best practices for ensuring data quality and governance.

• Advanced Analytical Techniques: Proven experience applying machine learning, predictive analytics, and statistical techniques to derive actionable insights from complex datasets.

• Data Cleansing and Preprocessing: Strong skills in data cleansing and preprocessing (handling missing data, anomaly detection, and normalization) to ensure data quality and reliability.

• Proficiency in Data Analytics Tools: Experience with data analytics tools such as Python (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy), R, and SAS for complex data manipulation and analysis.

• Data Mining: Proficient in data mining techniques, including clustering, classification, regression, and association rules, to extract valuable insights from large datasets.

• Data Warehousing: Knowledge and experience in data warehousing concepts and technologies, ensuring efficient storage and retrieval of data for analysis.

• Data Integration: Expertise in integrating data from diverse sources for comprehensive analysis, ensuring that the data is compatible, clean, and ready for insights generation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, with proven experience in developing Business Intelligence reports and dashboards.

• Expertise in Power BI, SQL, and data query tools.

• Strong knowledge of data management practices, including governance and quality control.

• Superior proficiency in Microsoft 365 Office Suite, Microsoft Power BI Service, and Azure ecosystems.

• Demonstrated ability to manage projects from initiation through testing and delivery.
