About the Engagement

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist with strong expertise in enterprise data, metadata management, Informatica solutions, and cloud-based data environments.

The successful consultant will support the development and implementation of enterprise Data Governance and Data Marketplace capabilities using Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC). The engagement will focus on metadata ingestion, enterprise data cataloging, business glossary development, stewardship workflows, data lineage, data discovery, Data Marketplace functionality, and governance controls.

Scope

• Configure and implement Informatica IDMC data capabilities.

• Develop and maintain Data Marketplace solutions supporting self-service data discovery and consumption.

• Configure Business Glossary, Data Catalog, Data Marketplace, Metadata Management, Data Lineage, Data Quality integrations, and Data Stewardship workflows.

• Build metadata ingestion pipelines and automate metadata harvesting from enterprise source systems.

Assignment Deliverables

• Develop and deliver a phased Governance and Data Marketplace POC.

• Configure metadata ingestion and cataloging for priority enterprise data assets.

• Establish and configure Business Glossary and Data Stewardship workflows.

• Implement data lineage, metadata management, and data discovery capabilities.

Expertise Required

Must Have:

• 5+ years of experience in data management, metadata management, or related enterprise data solutions.

• 2+ years of hands-on Informatica experience.

• Demonstrated experience implementing one or more of the following:

o   Informatica Data Catalog

o   Informatica Data Governance & Catalog

o   Informatica Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC)

o   Informatica Data Marketplace

• Strong understanding of frameworks and principles.

• Strong knowledge of Metadata Management and Data Lineage.

• Experience integrating Informatica solutions with cloud and on-premises data sources.

• Strong proficiency in SQL.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of DAMA-DMBOK principles.

• Experience with Data Quality and Data Observability tools.

• Experience with API integrations and metadata automation.
