About the Engagement

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior DataOps / Cloud Data Engineer to support large-scale cloud data modernization and analytics initiatives within a complex public sector environment.

The successful consultant will play a key role in designing, developing, implementing, and optimizing modern cloud-based data platforms, data pipelines, data lakehouses, and enterprise data integration solutions. The role requires deep expertise in Azure data technologies, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Informatica, DataOps practices, CI/CD automation, cloud migration and enterprise data architecture.

Scope

• Design, develop, and optimize Azure Data Factory and Databricks pipelines integrating Oracle and other enterprise data sources into cloud-based Lakehouses.

• Design and implement Medallion Architecture data models and data engineering solutions.

• Develop, maintain, and optimize enterprise data pipelines, workflows, orchestration processes, and automation frameworks.

• Translate and modernize Informatica ETL solutions into Azure Data Factory and Databricks ELT solutions.

• Build and optimize enterprise data lake, data warehouse, and lakehouse solutions.

Assignment Deliverables

• Design, develop, and optimize Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and cloud-based data integration solutions.

• Develop scalable data pipelines supporting structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data ingestion and transformation.

• Implement Medallion Architecture and Lakehouse solutions using Databricks and Azure technologies.

• Develop and maintain enterprise data models, star schemas, dimensional models, and data mapping specifications.

Expertise Required

Must Have:

• Experience developing ETL processes with Informatica, Azure Data Factory and Databricks (Python, Lakeflow, and SQL Optimization)

• Experience with solution development with Databricks in Medallion Architecture.

• Experience with Cloud data engineer must be familiar and experienced with different programming languages (Python, SQL, t-SQL, PL/SQL, Informatica, ADF, SSIS. Microsoft Fabric) and be able to integrate with many different platforms to create data pipelines, jobs, automate tasks, and write scripts.

• Experience with Data pipeline and workflow development, orchestration, deployment, and automation and specializing in programming and pipelines to create and managing the dataflow, Delta Lake indexing, parallelism and movement of data.

Nice to Have:

• Advanced experience with dashboarding, KPI development, analytics, and data visualization platforms.

• Experience leading technical teams and providing solution architecture guidance.
