Senior DevOPS/Cloud Engineer

The Ontario Government Client is looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Developer with strong expertise in AWS services and cloud-based systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development and delivery, along with deep knowledge of AWS tools and services. This role focuses on managing and maintaining cloud systems, implementing cloud security, and delivering contact center solutions on AWS. Public sector experience is a plus.

Must Haves:

• 5+ years of experience with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, Kinesis, DynamoDB, etc.)

• Proficiency in AWS CLI, SDK, CloudFormation, and IAM security best practices

• Familiarity with monitoring solutions like CloudWatch and CloudTrail

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines on AWS

• Strong understanding of cloud security, identity, and encryption models

Technical Skills

• 10+ years of software development experience

• AWS cloud services experience, including Amazon Connect

• Experience with cloud-based production systems management

• Knowledge of container-based technologies like Docker

Core Skills and Experience

• Experience with system design models and technical documentation

• Expertise in APIs, DevOps tools, and scripting languages

• Experience in automation and monitoring on AWS

Contact Center/Public Sector Experience

• 5+ years implementing Contact Center solutions

• Knowledge of Public Sector Enterprise Architecture and processes

General Skills

• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and consulting skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
