About the Engagement

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps / Cloud Engineer to support the design, implementation, automation, security, and operational management of enterprise cloud solutions within a large public-sector healthcare environment.

The successful consultant will provide technical leadership in AWS cloud platform administration, cloud infrastructure automation, production support, performance optimization, security implementation, and DevOps best practices. The role requires working closely with architecture, development, operations, and business teams to deliver secure, scalable, and highly available cloud-based solutions.

Scope

• Provide expertise in AWS cloud platform architecture, administration, and support.

• Design, build, automate, and maintain cloud-based production environments.

• Monitor, assess, and optimize application performance in cloud environments.

• Ensure cloud environments meet availability, performance, security, and scalability requirements.

• Implement and maintain cloud security controls, safeguards, and monitoring solutions.

Assignment Deliverables

• Design, implement, and support AWS cloud infrastructure and related production systems.

• Automate deployment, provisioning, monitoring, and operational processes.

• Configure and manage AWS services including networking, security, storage, databases, and integration services.

• Establish cloud monitoring, logging, alerting, and performance management solutions.

Expertise Required

Must Have:

• 10+ years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting AWS cloud infrastructure and production environments.

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, API Gateway, Aurora, Redshift, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, Elastic Load Balancing, and Auto Scaling.

• Proven experience ensuring cloud environment availability, performance, security, scalability, and operational reliability.

• 5+ years of experience administering and supporting Linux/Unix environments, including Red Hat and Solaris.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized application deployments.

• Experience implementing cloud security controls, including identity management, network security, encryption, monitoring, and compliance.

• Strong DevOps experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitLab (or similar tools), infrastructure automation, and configuration management.

• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, JavaScript, or similar technologies.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with serverless application architectures.

• Experience with mobile device management solutions.

• Experience supporting large-scale integration and digital transformation programs.
