Senior ETL Software Developer

Our Government Client is seeking a Senior ETL Software Developer to support the design, development, migration, and optimization of complex ETL processes within a modernized data environment. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in ETL development, data integration, and performance tuning.

Job Location: Toronto, ON/Hybrid

Job Description:

Must Haves:

• 10+ years as a BI/ETL Developer with strong SQL, T-SQL, and PL/SQL skills

• Expertise in Oracle tools (EXPLAIN PLAN, TKPROF, OEM, RMAN) and Oracle 11g/19c

• 3+ years’ experience with Informatica PowerCenter v10.2 administration

• 2+ years with Informatica Cloud (IDMC) including secure agents, asset migration, and role configuration

• Proficiency in data modeling (OLTP, OLAP), data quality, and replication

• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)

Key Responsibilities:

• Migrate and optimize ETL code from PowerCenter to Informatica Cloud

• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines and PL/SQL procedures

• Perform data loading, cleansing, and validation

• Collaborate with project teams for testing, debugging, and deployment

• Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and documentation standards

This is a hands-on, high-impact role supporting critical public sector data initiatives.
