About the Engagement

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack - Software Developer to support the design, development, and maintenance of modern, scalable, cloud-native web applications. The successful consultant will work collaboratively within an Agile delivery team to deliver high-quality, accessible, and secure software solutions aligned with Public Services standards, including AODA and WCAG compliance.

Scope

• Design and implement end-to-end full stack solutions (front-end, back-end, database, DevOps)

• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and cloud-native applications

• Develop accessible web applications (WCAG/AODA compliant)

• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Designers, and Architects to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Assignment Deliverables

• Develop application design and technical specification documentation

• Build scalable web applications using modern frameworks and cloud technologies

• Design and implement REST API services and integrations

• Ensure application performance, scalability, and security.

Expertise Required

Must Have:

• Strong experience with Entity Framework or similar ORM tools

• Proven experience designing and implementing REST APIs

• Hands-on development experience with: React, Next.js, JavaScript and TypeScript, Node.js

• Strong experience with SQL and relational databases

• Knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and accessible web design practices

• Experience using React libraries such as Hook Form, React Query, Zustand.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with JSON, SpringBoot, and API-based systems

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Azure DevOps (VSTS/TFS)

• Knowledge of test automation tools (e.g., Playwright).
