About the Engagement

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack - Software Developer to support the design, development, implementation and maintenance of large-scale enterprise web applications.

The role also requires strong knowledge of microservices and modern application architecture, front-end and back-end integration, API development, responsive web development, accessibility standards, DevOps practices and secure, scalable application design.

Scope

• Design, develop, test, implement and maintain large-scale enterprise web applications.

• Translate technical system specifications into fully functional and tested applications.

• Develop and integrate front-end interfaces, back-end services, databases and REST APIs.

• Design and support scalable microservices-based application architectures.

Assignment Deliverables

• Develop and enhance scalable full-stack web applications using Java, React, TypeScript, Node.js, HTML5 and CSS3.

• Design, develop and integrate REST APIs, microservices and database components.

• Produce detailed programming specifications and develop well-structured, reusable and testable code.

• Design and implement responsive and accessible user interfaces for enterprise applications.

Expertise Required

Must Have:

• 10+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-client web applications.

• 10+ years of hands-on Java development experience working with Oracle and/or SQL databases.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with REST APIs, React, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3 and Node.js.

• Working experience with RxJS, Next.js and Vue.js.

• Strong knowledge and experience with microservices architecture, including applying architecture principles to improve product scalability, extensibility and maintainability.

• Experience with Azure DevOps and modern application development and deployment practices.

• Experience developing responsive web applications.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with established public-sector application development standards and processes.

• Knowledge and experience with blockchain and smart-contract development using Solidity, along with an understanding of basic cryptography principles.
