We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Ontario Government client’s team, overseeing critical projects related to the development of an Immunization Repository. This role is essential for managing and coordinating various workstreams, ensuring successful deployment, and addressing issues, risks, and service change requests promptly.
Must Haves:
5-8 years of experience as a Project Manager, particularly with electronic clinical software systems and health-related projects.
Demonstrated experience in deploying clinical software systems.
Strong knowledge of Project Management concepts, including project goals, risk management, scope definition, scheduling, and quality management.
Experience with immunization data workflows, pharmacy operations, or familiarity with the Panorama system is highly beneficial.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven stakeholder engagement capabilities.
Effective time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Collaboration and conflict resolution skills to ensure team coordination and successful project execution.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the development and management of the Integrated Project Plan for six project workstreams.
Forecast, monitor, and report on project budgets within the portfolio.
Engage with vendors, stakeholders, and clients to manage expectations and deliverables.
Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.
Collaborate with Ontario Health teams, including Clinical Repositories and Privacy, to refine business requirements.
Ensure go-live readiness, including technical configuration and workflow modifications.
Develop and maintain project status reports and documentation.
Desired Skills:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and familiarity with the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).
Experience with various project management methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile).
Knowledge of healthcare information systems and workflows, particularly in immunization and pharmacy.
Strong relationship-building and influencing skills, especially in political environments.
Familiarity with privacy policies and legislative processes such as HPPA, FIPPA, and PHIPA.
