Senior Software Developer

We are looking for a skilled ETL Developer to join our Ontario Government Client team. With a focus on the Azure Cloud environment and ETL processes, you will play a vital role in designing, implementing, and optimizing data pipelines for critical projects.

Must Haves:

• Experience collaborating within Agile software development teams

• Proficiency with relational and hierarchical database technologies

• Experience working within the Azure Cloud environment

General Skills:

• Strong background in programming, analysis, and cloud environments

• Expertise in designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting applications

• Experience with object and third-generation languages

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

• Ability to work closely with stakeholders and subject matter experts

Technical (ETL) Skills:

• Expertise in gathering business requirements and transforming data for end users

• Experience maintaining and improving ETL processes

• Knowledge of scalable and maintainable data architecture

• Strong problem-solving skills in identifying and resolving ETL pipeline issues

• Ability to prepare detailed technical documentation

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with RAD, Agile methodologies, and internet-ready applications

• Familiarity with AODA regulations and middleware technologies

• Experience providing post-implementation support and troubleshooting

Public Sector Experience:

• Experience working within the Ontario Public Services (OPS) environment is preferred.
