Senior Software Developer

We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer for our Ontario Government Client. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in programming, analysis, and data architecture with a focus on transforming and delivering high-quality data to meet user needs. If you have significant experience in ETL processes, cloud environments, and are familiar with government sector IT, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to impactful projects.

Must Haves:

• Expertise in collaborating within Agile software development environments

• Experience with relational and hierarchical databases

• Experience working with the Azure Cloud environment

General Skills:

• Experience in programming, analysis, and software package support

• Ability to collaborate throughout the software development lifecycle

• Expertise in designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting applications

• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Familiarity with application design, deployment, and troubleshooting

Technical (ETL) Skills:

• Knowledge in gathering requirements and transforming data for end users

• Experience maintaining and improving ETL processes

• Expertise in scalable and maintainable data architecture

• Experience investigating and resolving data issues in ETL pipelines

• Ability to document processes and solutions

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with RAD, Agile methodologies, middleware, and gateways

• Familiarity with AODA regulations and standards

• Ability to provide post-implementation support and technical troubleshooting

Public Sector Experience:

• Familiarity with Ontario Public Service (OPS) environment is a plus.
