Senior Software Developer

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to join our Ontario Government Client. This role requires a seasoned professional with over 15 years of overall experience, including at least 10 years of expertise in Java, J2EE, EJB, Spring Boot, UI development, and various other technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in database development, web services, DevOps, and familiarity with accessibility standards like AODA. If you have a proven track record in development, documentation, and vulnerability assessment, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to critical government projects.

Must Haves:

• 15+ years of overall experience, 10+ years in relevant technologies

• Strong Java, J2EE, EJB, Spring Boot, Angular, and Node.JS skills

• Experience with relational databases, Oracle Forms, and PL/SQL

• Knowledge of DevOps, Agile, SCRUM, and Lean methodologies

• Familiarity with AODA, IBM Websphere, and vulnerability resolution

General Skills:

• Proficient in programming, analysis, and structured methodologies

• Expertise in designing, coding, testing, and documenting applications

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and meet deadlines

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with Agile, SCRUM, DevOps

• Familiarity with public sector IT infrastructure
