About the Engagement

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to support the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-grade applications within a large-scale technology environment.

The successful candidate will possess extensive experience in full-stack development, enterprise architecture, cloud technologies, modern frontend frameworks, backend services, database development, and test automation. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, accessible, and high-performing solutions.

Scope

• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, tested, and production-ready software solutions.

• Design and develop enterprise-level web applications and backend services.

• Build responsive frontend applications using modern JavaScript frameworks.

• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.

Assignment Deliverables

• Technical design documents and programming specifications.

• Full-stack application development and enhancements.

• RESTful APIs and microservices implementations.

• Database schemas, stored procedures, and optimized SQL solutions.

Expertise Required

Must Have:

• 10+ years of experience developing n-tier enterprise applications.

• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, JPA, and Hibernate.

• Proven experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.

• Strong experience with React and/or Angular, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

• Advanced database development experience with PostgreSQL, PL/pgSQL, Azure Cosmos DB, and SQL optimization.

Nice to Have:

• Experience developing cloud-native, internet-facing applications on Microsoft Azure.

• Experience with Agile/Scrum, CI/CD pipelines, user stories, and test automation.

• Experience with middleware, API gateways, integration services, or enterprise integration platforms.
