About the Engagement

Akkodis is seeking a highly experienced Senior Solutions Designer with 10+ years of backend design and development experience to support the design and delivery of large, complex, highly available, and mission-critical enterprise applications.

The successful consultant will bring extensive expertise in REST Web Services, JPA, Hibernate, SQL, PL/SQL, Spring Framework, enterprise integration, cloud-based integration solutions, APIs, message queues, middleware, and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) technologies.

Scope

• Design and develop complex enterprise backend applications and integration solutions.

• Develop solutions using REST Web Services, JPA, Hibernate, SQL, and PL/SQL.

• Design enterprise integrations using established integration patterns, technologies, principles, and best practices.

• Design and build integration solutions using the Spring Framework and Spring Integration.

• Develop and support integrations using APIs, message queues, middleware, and Enterprise Service Bus technologies.

Assignment Deliverables

• Design and develop scalable, highly available, mission-critical backend solutions.

• Produce technical solution designs based on business and system requirements.

• Develop and implement enterprise integration solutions using appropriate integration patterns and technologies.

• Build and maintain REST-based services and integration components.

Expertise Required

Must Have:

• 10+ years of backend design and development experience using REST Web Services, JPA, Hibernate, databases, SQL, and PL/SQL.

• Strong knowledge of message-oriented middleware and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) technologies, such as IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) or MuleSoft.

• Hands-on experience with integration technologies and standards including JMS, AMQP, REST APIs, message queues, and middleware.

• Experience applying integration technologies within a Microsoft Azure context.

• Strong experience designing and implementing cloud-based integration solutions.

• Experience with database technologies including Oracle and SQL Server.

• Experience designing technical solutions from business requirements using technologies and approaches such as UML, JEE, Service Bus, and ETL.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with enterprise architecture standards, documentation, and architecture artifacts.

• Knowledge of integrated networking technologies, enterprise servers, storage, and related infrastructure technologies.
