Senior Specialized IT Consultant

Our Ontario Government Client is seeking a Senior BMC ITSM Consultant to assist in the migration of their on-premises Remedy ITSM solution to Helix SaaS, while adopting key features like SmartIT, SmartRecorder, and Chatbot. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Remedy ITSM, CMDB, and BMC tools, with a focus on customization and stakeholder engagement.

Must Haves:

• 5+ years of experience with Remedy ITSM and CMDB

• 3+ years of experience with BMC DWP, DWP catalogue, and Smart-IT

• 3+ years of experience with SmartRecorder and Chatbot

Responsibilities:

Deliverables:

• Serve as the Senior Consultant for the adoption of Helix features, including SmartIT, SmartRecorder, Chatbot, and Knowledge Management.

• Lead the migration of OTN Remedy from on-premises to Helix SaaS.

• Engage in the build and development activities associated with these tools.

• Support the in-house Remedy team with ongoing operational activities.

• Document and detail the build and installation steps for each product.

• Develop, document, and test migration scripts.

• Gather and consolidate stakeholder requirements, negotiating to achieve out-of-the-box solutions wherever possible.

• Provide strategic guidance on upgrade options for the Remedy ITSM toolset.

• Deliver detailed descriptions and demos of the new capabilities within the Remedy ITSM toolset.
