    We are seeking a Senior Specialized IT Consultant to play a critical role in aligning the Provincial Client Registry (PCR) with client identifiers linked to Immunization data. The candidate will focus on data alignment activities that are vital for the Immunization Repository project. The role demands extensive experience with IBM InfoSphere MDM, WebSphere Application Server (WAS), and Java development, along with expertise in healthcare systems and workflows.

    Must-Have Skills:

    1. IBM InfoSphere MDM Identity Hub Standard Edition (formerly Initiate):

      • Minimum 5 years’ experience with IBM InfoSphere MDM, particularly in the Identity Hub Standard Edition.

      • Expertise in system integration and supporting web services within the MDM context.

    2. IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS):

      • 5+ years’ experience working with IBM WAS, including deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.

    3. Java Development:

      • 5+ years’ experience in Java programming, particularly in healthcare-related projects.

      • Experience with HL7 messaging, Cloverleaf integration suite, and IBM InfoSphere DataStage.

    4. SQL Programming:

      • Strong proficiency in SQL within relational databases, focusing on ETL processes, data validation, and remediation.

    5. Healthcare Systems Knowledge:

      • Deep understanding of healthcare systems, including Immunization workflows, pharmacies, hospitals, and public health programs.

      • Familiarity with privacy policies and legislation, including HPPA, FIPPA, and PHIPA.

    6. Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC):

      • Strong knowledge of SDLC, QA requirements, and software development control and release procedures.

    7. Distributed Messaging and Streaming Data Solutions:

      • Experience with distributed messaging systems like Kafka and streaming data solutions.

    8. Container-Based Development:

      • Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.

    9. Troubleshooting and Remediation:

      • Extensive experience in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving complex technical issues.

    Responsibilities:

    • Interface Updates: Update common interfaces to reflect changes in data models and support FHIR queries.

    • ETL Documentation: Document ETL workflows, processes, and remediation steps.

    • Data Validation: Add data validation rules and enhance error handling in common interfaces.

    • Knowledge Transfer: Ensure full knowledge transfer to the Ontario Health team, including documentation, code reviews, and walkthroughs.

    • Collaboration: Work closely with Ontario Health teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and deliverables.

    • Compliance: Adhere to Ontario Health's privacy policies, legislative processes, and accessibility standards (AODA).
