About the Engagement

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Testing / QA Specialist to support the quality assurance, testing, and validation of a large-scale enterprise health data platform.

The successful consultant will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, integrity, performance, and quality of software and data solutions. This opportunity is ideal for a testing professional with deep experience in enterprise application testing, relational databases, SQL-based validation, quality assurance methodologies, and stakeholder collaboration.

Scope

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive testing strategies for enterprise applications and data platforms.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and performance testing across complex technology environments.

• Validate data engineering activities, ensuring data quality, integrity, and performance standards are met.

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, architects, project managers, and business stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.

Assignment Deliverables

• Comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test schedules.

• Detailed test cases, test scripts, and test execution results.

• Defect logs, issue reporting, and remediation tracking documentation.

• Data validation reports and SQL-based testing results.

Expertise Required

Must Have:

• 10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and software systems testing.

• 5+ years of experience working within Federal, Provincial, Municipal, Broader Public Sector (BPS), healthcare, or comparable public-sector environments.

• Extensive experience with functional, regression, integration, system, and performance testing.

• Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models.

• Demonstrated experience developing test strategies, test plans, and risk-based testing approaches.

• Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, PyTest, or similar frameworks.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.

• Experience with test data management, data masking, and data validation activities.

• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment environments.
