About the Engagement

Akkodis is seeking a results-driven Senior Systems Testing / QA Specialist to support enterprise-level application testing initiatives. The successful consultant will be responsible for delivering high-quality testing outcomes across functional, non-functional, and accessibility testing, ensuring compliance with AODA and WCAG 2.1 standards. This role requires strong expertise across the full testing lifecycle, including strategy, planning, execution, defect management, and automation, within Agile and hybrid delivery environments.

Scope

• Lead and contribute to testing strategy, planning, and execution

• Perform functional, non-functional, system integration, and UAT testing

• Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (AODA / WCAG 2.1)

• Develop and execute manual and automated test scripts.

Assignment Deliverables

• Test strategies, plans, and execution reports

• Detailed test cases, scripts, and test data sets

• Accessibility compliance testing results (AODA/WCAG 2.1)

• Defect logs and tracking reports (JIRA or equivalent).

Expertise Required

Must Have:

• 5+ years of experience in testing across various testing types (functional, non-functional, UAT).

• Ability to create detailed test plans, test cases, and reports.

• Proven experience in AODA compliance testing and WCAG 2.1 standards.

• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC methodologies

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

• Experience using tools like Jira to track and manage defects.  

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of testing in object-oriented environments

• Experience supporting UAT and stakeholder validation activities.
