Senior Systems Testing/QA Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our Ontario Government Client. This role is pivotal in ensuring software quality through effective defect tracking, automated test tools, and version control systems. The ideal candidate must possess:

• 8+ years of experience in defect tracking using collaborative tools.

• Strong knowledge and experience with automated test tools and version control systems.

Mandatory Requirements

• 8+ years of demonstrated experience in defect tracking, managing change requests, and communicating statuses to all project participants.

• Proven expertise in using automated test tools and version control systems across one or more platforms.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Quality Assurance Skills:

  • Proficient in developing test plans, scripts, and data.

  • Experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and leading UAT sessions.

  • Strong analytical and communication skills; capable of working independently or as part of a team.

• Technical Skills:

  • Experience with SharePoint, .NET Web, Web Services, HTML, JavaScript.

  • Proficient in Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

  • Familiarity with JIRA, Azure DevOps Boards, Asana for tracking and documentation.
