About the Engagement

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Testing / QA Specialist to support enterprise-scale transit and operational systems. The successful consultant will lead and execute comprehensive quality assurance and testing activities across multiple applications, ensuring reliable, scalable, and high-quality system performance.

This role involves close collaboration with technical teams and third-party vendors to plan, execute, and report on testing strategies across Agile and Waterfall environments.

Scope

• Plan, design, and execute end-to-end testing strategies

• Perform functional, regression, UAT, E2E, and non-functional testing

• Collaborate with developers, stakeholders, and vendors for testing coordination

• Maintain and execute regression test suites.

Assignment Deliverables

• Test plans, test strategies, and test scripts

• Test cases and execution reports

• Defect logs and tracking reports (JIRA/Zephyr)

• Test progress and summary reports.

Expertise Required

Must Have:

• Experience with Agile methodologies

• Experience with React and TypeScript

• Experience with Node.js and Next.js

• Experience building and testing RESTful APIs

• Working knowledge of Jamstack architecture.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with large-scale infrastructure or operational systems

• Exposure to data analytics projects and data validation techniques

• Experience collaborating with vendor-managed systems.
